It's funny that it says "World" Cup, but Canada is not included. 'Guess we're only good to Hockey and our own Football league and Avatar.

Well the Canadian team was actualy trying to qualify (you have to qualify first for the world cup, only 32 spots and over 200 countries), but failed miserably
Guess there is not so much grass there in canada

Yep, alot of it has to do with facilities and funding for the soccer/football programs in addition to the quality of the players for each nation. Throw in an active league(s) and also having the players play in other leagues overseas. This should be fun.

why should they put money in it when the sport aint popular enough in Canada?? football is all about business nowadays. which makes it that much worse than football 20-30 years go
