Lag problems?

So.. i decided to 2v2 with my friends today, and every one of us were lagging with lagging screen and all. it was so unplayable that we decided to stop the game and retry. the lag went on every game and eventually 2 of us were dropped. i checked the gaming sites for this problem and so far there was no thread about it so my question is, are u guys experiencing this problem too? or does our comps just suddenly suck

I experience severe lag and even waiting for players screens when it's just me vs a bot. I think that battle.net is just unstable right now.

I am in spades, I tried playing a game with Hamshank and Sarov earlier and it felt like I was trying to run after I had my legs severed.

I think the blizzard servers have slowed down from patch downloads or updating their servers. Probably patch is what I'm thinking.

Yup I get severe lag issues. It's because the actual game is hosted on a Battle.net server, the games are not like SC1 or WC3 , its supposedly 100% hosted through them.


I notice this when I game in the morning (college is out) , I assume I'm gaming with europeans or people in Asia. But it doesn't explain why it lags SO badly sometimes.
I've played with Koreans all the time on SC1...sure the MS ping might go from 30 to 100-150..

But the stuff you guys are describing, which I have experienced, is like when your ping goes into the 200-300's on a FPS. Basically unplayable.
