It's an interesting idea, but it wouldn't work for two reasons:
-What happens after everything suddenly pops to normal size? Chaos ensues.
-There is no plausible explanation for this, and while I'm generally against realism in games, there are limits, and in this case it's a viable objection. How the hell are real life animals/zerg supposed to shrink in a second? Makes no sense whatsoever.

Good first point , I concede that one. But the explanation can simply be that all the units are rampaging over each other with eagerness to get to battle. But like I said a crazy idea.
EDIT: But the fact that Frenzy has been put in the game this late in the beta proves they're still willing to make those sorts of changes and not just tweak numbers.

I don't like the name also, its so WC3'ish.
Really, can't Blizzard think of a better name?

WC3 had the very similar, "Unholy Frenzy" -

And leap isn't a Diablo skill?
Anyway, just name it "Hive Pheromones" or "Brood Pheromones" and be done with it. The Zerg squirt stuff, they're organic. I don't see why that thought wouldn't have crossed Blizzard's mind at least once unless it's already in the single player...
However, Frenzy is definitely a place holder name.

In other words, it's entirely subjective and will vary from person to person depending on their experiences. Take, for instance, the 'bloodlust' suggestion. You might associate with Warcraft due to some WoW spell. Meanwhile, others might be familiar enough with the word (e.g. through reading or playing non-Warcraft games) to know it's part of common English; even when taking into account its definition here. Just because a term has been used in Warcraft does not make it exclusive to it and not usable in Starcraft. Otherwise, the term 'blink' should likewise not be allowed since it was used to mean a short-distance teleportation ability in Warcraft as well and its use for the Stalker in SC2 was derived directly from there or whichever sword-and-fantasy game used it first (since it's using a non-standard definition for the word).
