I never knew you could see anything when I was burrowed, but I always play zerg so for me it looks like a hyperactive gopher. Thanks a lot for bringing this up! Now people are going to be looking for it... GRUMBLE GRUMBLE.

I would rather be a superb meteor, every atom of me in magnificent glow, than a sleepy and permanent planet.

I think its fair. I mean units moving underground cant do shit, while dark templars, banshees, ghosts, observers... all of them work perfectly on stealth mode. On the other hand, the roach and the infestor move slowly, and cant attack, or cast, or dance while burrowed. Its fine as it is.

I can see it very clearly, it's not only a shadow but also some spikes (at least for Roaches), but I play on very low graphic settings.

Uhh, i had an entire army of Roaches moving inside my base, and never seen a damn thing. Does it have some effect, or only the Zerg player sees it?
Just watched the video. Don't know if it looks better in-game, but it's quite dim.

The Zerg player sees the crest of their unit and a huge noticeable burrowing trail. You're definitely not going to mistake the ally/player view with the opponent view. The opponent will see a slight ground blur/dust, though I'm not sure how it will look at different graphics settings. However, their definitely is supposed to be a trail. If you want to make sure, replay that match, watch it through his vision and when he's in your base, switch it to your view to see the difference.
Also, someone ought to test whether the different graphics setting levels will affect the enemy vision of the burrowing motion.
