Today Pandora is Rebecca Schafer. She's so used to taking on different identities that she hardly notices the malleable mask hugging her face. The crucial piece of Umojan tech that channels her psionic energy and makes her appear as someone she is not. The psiweave.

The mask has taken on the rough shape and image of Schafer's face, enough to fool holocams and people from afar. But Pandora also keeps up a relentless mental manipulation of anyone close by to seal the illusion.

However that wasn't what I was talking about. I was referring to the nanotech the Umojans utilized in surgery, surveillance (nano-spies) and assassination (poisoned nanobarbs).

In that regard, we don't have any evidence that shows that the dominion doesn't employ the same thing.

Oddly enough the most satisfying parts of this particular story were those that had nothing to do with the Thor. Come to think of it, there wasn't a whole lot of story about the Thor itself. They should've just called the story Shadowguards, or something.

In any case, I thought it was good. Lots of new tech and stuff, and the Shadowguards themselves seem rather cool. Apparently not every psionic assassin has to be a Ghost.

Come to think of it, there are quite a few psionic assassins in the Terran ranks. Ghosts, Spectres, Wranglers, Shadowguards and the one Gestalt. Granted there probably isn't going to be more then one Gestalt and Wranglers aren't so much assassin's as detectives with the power of voodoo.
