Say what you want about the overall scale in-game. However, there is a definite sense of scale between ground units even if it is not exactly to scale. What I mean is that you can tell that Zerglings are definitely smaller than Marines who are in turn smaller than Siege Tanks. That's what I feel people are clamouring for; that there should be a noticeable difference in size between the Siege Tank and Thor.

The solution, to me is simple. Reduce the collision size without equally reducing the model size. This would help solve the pathing issues without too greatly impacting on the Thor's aesthetics. The consequence of this is that they will simply be able to pack themselves more tightly. Sure, there might be some instances where, if you look carefully, their arms might clash through one another. However, considering people don't complain about Void Rays flying right through Colossi, I don't see this being too much of an issue.

Thor should be 2X bigger and the BC 10X bigger to be 'to scale' IMO.

BC's are big enough to house hundreds of crew members.

The current new Thor is considerably larger than a Siege Tank. If I get to field both in a game, I will at a glance know immediately which is wish. Yes it sucks that its a bit smaller but I don't get where people are saying that its the size of a tank.

Here's how I think all the units would be scaled:

I think the Viking is a little smaller as well. At least in ground form.

Exactly: Finally somebody with brains, not some random dude that loves to exaggerate hoping to be funny. OH YEAH YOU WANT SCALE??? MAKE THE BATTLECRUISER THE SIZE OF A MOON. Smart guy huh???

Now that is what the thor should look like. At least in size. Im starting to think that the older design was better than the new one. The guns on its back are too much. Everything else is fine.

You still wouldn't be able to fit the cattlebruiser onscreen. And I you zoom out, all the other units (with exception of the thor) should be represented as specs.

I mean c'mon, does THIS look like it would completely fit on a map?

The size of the portholes on the back of the hammerhead section says it all....
