The roach always was a 2 supply unit, but it's still 75/25 so I don't see the biggie. Thinking about it it's probably worse for me as a Terran player because it will encourage more diversity in Zerg unit combinations.
No completely agree with nerf.
I don't have enough info.
I am a little annoyed by this nerf.
Oh my god, insane nerf what was blizzard thinking!

I really need to change this...

Doesn't help the ultralisk to give it that. The problem is that Ultralisks don't get to their targets without dying. Players always target it with anti-armor. It's a big threatening unit that must be dealt with; and it will die before it gets into melee range.
Against light units, it does great. It's the nature of high-damage anti-armor units that makes Ultras not as effective. Giving them burrow regen doesn't help break through the front lines.

Well that is the bigger issue with ultras, but I was making the general point that buffing the ultra by making the roach unmassable late game is a bad idea... The units should be balanced so that an T3 Ultra would be comparable to a T3 Roach even in the early game when supply isn't the biggest issue. (and making the other point that a fast(er) regen would be useful for the ultralisk if it was otherwise balanced)
It was also to make the point that
1. in general Zerg units should be balanced by making them weaker rather than more expensive
2. units should be balanced in ways that Add to their unique character rather than diminish it if possible (ie Roach regen... eliminating above ground fast regen from even the T3 Roach.. bad idea)
Probably take away the ultra's 'armored' tag would be the best way to solve it... make it just bio+massive (siege tanks/colossi/thors would still hurt it pretty badly).

Not really the only one, but it was one of the best units. And that armor reduction is big deal in comparison with this supply change. With Armor nerf, Units like Zerglings and Marines have a lot less trouble with Roaches, than before the nerf. Now in ZvZ you can see even mass Zerglings vs. Roaches, and Zerglings can win them actually.
Of course, there are many factors that decide the outcome of the battle, but it is not like before where 5 Roaches kills 20 Zerglings, because they did like 2-3 damage each, which is really low...
Now that is good idea. I like it. I mean, the reason why nobody is going Ultras is because they are really countered well with Immortals/Stalkers/Marauders... Great Idea, hope Blizzard do something about it, or just do decrease damage of those units.Probably take away the ultra's 'armored' tag would be the best way to solve it... make it just bio+massive (siege tanks/colossi/thors would still hurt it pretty badly).

While as a zerg player I think a nerf was needed..I feel like it's a bit too much...
I think they should give a bit of something to make up for it. either slightly incrase the regen when above ground or something.
