I don't think I've ever seen myself favored either. I'm 2nd place in my copper division and all they've been putting me against lately are gold and silver players.

I get favored a good amount, it sucks, i don't want to be favored. I hate ending a game and just getting 7 pts for a win.....

its an odd system.. I felt that way for awhile too, but this past week, ive been favored every game or even.. which means climbing is very very hard (i get matched vs 1900+ platinum players, not exactly a sure win everytime)..
Last night, i tried to gain 50 pts to break 1800 again, each game I won like 13 pts, but i'd lose 11 or so. I broke it but then got 2 disconnects in a row, now im back to 1770 =/ its so lame.

Sorry for the noob question but is 1800 some bench mark? Someone else was talking about breaking 1800.

not really, just me (im sure the other was me too).. i want to break 2000, which i consider somewhat of a benchmark for platinum.. but im 200 off and reset is like tomorrow =/ too sick to mass game also.
overall tho, most people get placed in platinum, but theres only ~200 or so above 1700.. so its where "everyday platinum" separates from what should be platinum imo.

Same here, I _always_ get favored opponents, cant remember that I would've ever gotten even match. Always playing against favored opponents.

I'm in the same boat. I'm yet to be favored...
Side note, not sure how many of you know this, but playing 2v2 with a partner you can still end up playing a team of 2 that is randomly selected (your opponents do not know eachother)...

The king is always favored, whether or not the game realises this simple truth.
I really need to change this...
