Being in the top 24 in your platinum division is not the same as being in the top 24 "of european gamers." There are hundreds of divisions per gateway. Several of the players on this forum alone are in the top 25 of their respective Platinum divisions, myself included (and I'm not particularly good).

I wonder how that "pro league" is gonna work.. if its top 8 of each division in platinum, thats stupid.. For example, I was in a weak division where I was 400 points ahead of #2, yet I might not be top 10 in certain divisions.

It's supposed to be hand-picked players. Whatever that means.

But basically that means that the players who are considered top tier won't have to bother with grinding the ladder as long as they just participate and perform in tourneys (or find another way to get noticed and blizzard-approved). I guess it's a bit of a free pass to encourage the very good players to use the ladder since they won't be paired with unfavored players as often.

Have you not seen the size of every other unit? I'm pretty sure the battlecruiser isn't up to scale.

I knew that's what you were talking about. I'm third in my division. I am in NOOOO WAAAAAY the third best on Battle.net. At best, I'm in the top 1000. Score means a lot more but even that is off because those who play more have higher scores.
