What do you guys think of the option to offer a draw?
If not what should be done when both players have buildings left but its impossible to destroy either sides?

Thank you for bringing this Team Liquid topic to us! They truly are the leading community for SC1 and 2!
As for the problem, there should be an offer draw option. I also think draws should be in the game. I don't care if the Terran only has 1 Barracks left and the Protoss has an entire ground army read to pounce, the Terran isn't defeated until that building is destroyed. All this talk about giving Terran buildings energy to fly is ridiculous. When games call for it, playing for a draw should be a valid option.
If you don't have a Beta key and would like to play SC2 against computers, PM me. Don't ask me anything in posts. The AI that is out for the computers is fun and challenging. Give it a try to ease the pain of watching others play and not being able to play yourself.

I think it would be fine if you could offer a draw. If all players agree, nobody gets points and that's all, but at least you don't lose any points.

I'd prefer some kind of gimp to the Terran flying because I could see me having to offer and accept a draw just because they don't want to come down when I deserve that win![]()

Yes, yes it is a draw if the Protoss player has an army that can't kill air.
A building is a building regardless.
You don't see anyone crying to nerf ground buildings because someone has a phoenix and can't finish off an enemy supply depot.
Learn to foresee the probability of a Terran lifting a building to survive because *gasp!* it's been happening since SC1.

How about we make Overlords count as buildings, then. Give the Protoss some way of hiding a unit in the corner of the map that will ensure the enemy requires air units to win the game.
It seems silly to me that Terrans have this built in safety measure where they can simply frustrate their opponent into giving up if the game ends up in a stalemate.
I don't really see the point of a draw feature because the kind of player who hides his buildings isn't going to accept. He actually feels like he won the game simply because he has one flying building left and his opponent has no units that can attack air.
