When I read the thread title, I thought of "anatomic" maps
It didn't help Callosum looks like a giant dude. So when I saw dissection I wondered what kind of dissection you were tryig to portrait![]()

Hmm. That completely slipped by me until you mentioned it. Have I been subliminally referencing anatomy with this whole process? This calls in to question all the other maps.
Crimson Ridge... sounds like a part of the mouth, maybe?
Turnstile; perhaps some kind of surgical implement...??
Causeway... okay only thing I can think of is something about the circulatory system, and that's a bit weak, haha. Should rename it Aorta, Coronary, or maybe just Bloodstream XD
Yeah... I'm talking complete BS.

Amazing maps, gastrop0d! I love the quad-ramps in the middle of Causeway! They all look great! Will they still be playable after July 27th? Or will you have to make brand new stuff :\

Huzzah! Necro-posted back to life.
So once beta phase 1 ended I basically put this to rest. Now that the game is almost upon us (EXCITED!), I'm picking back up where I left off. :3
Thank you! I had a few co-op matches on Crimson and found it a tense map to try to defend on. That was basically what I set out to do with it, so I'm happy in that respect. But the map scares me XD
EDIT: Oh sorry, misread; you were talking about Causeway. That makes much more sense.
I've backed up all my map files, so I see no reason why they couldn't be republished once the game is released... in fact I'd be a little annoyed if they couldn't. But I have ideas for a UMS that will have to replace one of my 5 existing maps at some point. That will be some time in the future, though.
I've made some updates after some private play testing. Most of it is adjusting the arrangement of the mineral patches to make sure workers can access them efficiently. Turnstile has had the biggest change. I moved all the main ramps closer to team mate's, so both the mains of a team can be defended easily. Shall upload a picture soon.
EDIT: Here's how the changes look:
Moved the ramps at the naturals out just a tad to give more room at the naturals.
Moved the main ramps inwards.

Yeah! I guess adjusting the mineral patches is a great deal.
On some maps, I find my workers circling around the back of some patches.
It's like puting the patch a couple of meters further ^ ^
I haven't tried any of your maps yet. I can't wait ;p

Okay, maps have been published (except for Dissection... that needs more work). Feel free to give them a bash!

Nice looking maps. maybe i should have a go at some of these with the lads at Fightclub.
i wonder which are best for 1v1's though, except callosum.
are they published at EU at all?
I am an enthusiast of good strategy games, sc2Esports and rollplay, although i dont really play anything atm.
I work an internship at a government agency this fall, and have a good time at it.
I'm being more social, active and honest lately. in all forums.

I had made the assumption that "published means published everywhere", but maybe it only publishes to the region the account is assigned to?
If so that's kind of... sucky...
I am in the SEA/ANZ region, so it's possible they are unavailable to EU.
I imagine all the 2v2 maps are pretty rubbish for 1v1, since the mains are all pretty closely connected between allies. That does get me thinking about making another 1v1 or FFA/1v1 map, though...
Anyone know of how to publish to other regions? :S
