If your guitarist is playing through the fender I assume he’s using a signal boost in his chain? Otherwise you’ll have a very “unique” sounding metal band, if that is indeed what you’re playing. XD

He uses an effects processor, can't tell you what exactly. But, yeah, I hate that amp's sound. Unfortunately, living in Bulgaria, we can't really afford the good stuff. I had to give the equivilent of three months' pay just to buy my Yamaha RBX375 Bass, which ended up costing me ~400 euro. I'm currently saving up for a Line 6 Spider IV amp, 'cause I need a good amp to play with my other band, where I'm the guitarist/lead vocalist.
You seem to know your stuff, what instrument/genre do you play?
And for the record, this band is called 'The Revenge Project' and we play death/thrash metal with some prog/melodic influences, I can post a link to our latest music video on youtube if anyone's interested in hearing us.
Yeah, it's right in the middle between Bulgaria and Croatia, so I'll definitely let you know next time we're there. There were talks of us playing a few gigs with a Serbian band called Bane, though things are still in the early stages of planning.

I am unseen! *turns into a Shade*
My shadow has now been evaded.
Don't worry, I'll definitely let you know, but like I said - it's really not a sure thing, and it probably won't be very soon.![]()

I play Electric/Acoustic Guitar, Piano, bass and a little bit of drums. As for genres, I don’t limit myself- jazz, latin, bebop, country, blues, rock, metal, prog, death etc. As a session player you’ve gota know how to play any style asked of you. But the music I write is metal/ prog. Guitar is my main instrument btw.He uses an effects processor, can't tell you what exactly. But, yeah, I hate that amp's sound. Unfortunately, living in Bulgaria, we can't really afford the good stuff. I had to give the equivilent of three months' pay just to buy my Yamaha RBX375 Bass, which ended up costing me ~400 euro. A Spider IV eh? I’m not a fan of line 6, (I’m into the modelling side of amps, I crave raw value power. :P ) but that could be because I’ve played through mesa’s, engl’s etc for gigs. XD
But if it’s hard to get the right amps where you are, a line 6 should serve. Saying that, any line 6 is better than the amp I’ve got with me right now. I HATE avt marshals, but it’ll work... if not well![]()
I don’t think it’s against the rules, as people post their artworks, so link away.![]()

So you're a session musician? That's really cool, you get to play all sorts of styles. The problem here is that everyone's either into death/black/thrash metal or they're into stuff like RHCP, Coldplay, etc. Pretty much no one's into the prog/avant garde stuff that I like and want to play, so I'm always making compromises with my music.
About the gear, if I had the money I'd get a custom PRS guitar and a Mesa in a heartbeat. Sadly, I'm not sure one lifetime in this backwards country of mine would be enough to save up enough money for even one of those.
The Revenge Project - Diseased by Emotions
This is our latest video from the second album. It looks amateurish, but... that's because it is. It was shot by a friend of ours for free, then all the editing was done by our guitarist and another friend, who also did it for free.
There're quite a few live recordings and 3 more music videos on Youtube, you can check them out if you like. I'm not on any of the other videos, though, I've only been in the band the past 3 years.![]()
