Thread: What Will Raynor Do?

I said straight up shoot her, although maybe not "shoot" her - but inadvertently killing her at least.

Sparing her doesn't make sense to me, he basically promised to kill her in BW, and it would be DUMB to fall for her tricks AGAIN.

There's also the uninfest scenario, which if they do that, will probably lead to her dying soon after in my book. Either way I don't know if she'll be alive or at least kicking by LotV. I expect the main focus (or one of them) to be the Hybrids at LotV. Thats just me though, I'd like to see Blizzard throw a curve ball.

you guys are forgetting the bro equation. Kerrigan killed Raynor's Bro.

She's a walking corpse, literally and figuratively. Raynor will kill her.

Do I am the only one, that is under one hell of a weird impression about this topic...

Ok, first, to tell that someone deserve to die, and want him to die, even if it's in the game... Well, let's just say that's not my style.
But the last one, is the best!

To say that someone deserve a death, because he did some heroic and good deeds. Man, I wouldn't want to be your friend, you know? xD
And by the way, "He, above all others"... You're quite the killer

"You either die a hero or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain."

Well, for someone who has seen as much suffering in life as Raynor has, death might be a welcome reprieve. Moreover, everyone dies eventually. A heroic death means he doesn't get gutted in some alley or once he's down on his knees begging for mercy. In other words, a noble death.

Like dying in bed from being old, and having your children with their children around you?
If that also count to him as noble death, then I agree

If not, well, I don't agree and he's a killer

ps.: about that eventually, the later, the better.

Come on! Don't you see how funny it is?
It's like we have here a bunch of psychopaths

The love of Raynor's life, Kerrigan, is most likely going to die at the end this story. So if she dies, what does the man have...really. I know he said that he wanted to kill her himself...but I think a part of him still hopes to save her, instead.

If she's dead, then a hero's death is much more fitting for Raynor then going off into the sunset by himself, don't you think?

And what's wrong with characters being killed off. Worked great for Hamlet and Spock and Obi wan Kenobi.

Raynor has narrowly escaped death how many times over the course of this franchise? He's used up all nine lives. His number is up. He's one of the best scifi characters of all time. I want him to die...but I want him to save the galaxy while doing it.

I'm not morbid or anything...I just like to see stories take risks, and one way is to kill off important characters.

Raynors probably like 40 years old now, his wife is dead, his son is dead and hes been a terrorist leader (or freedom fighter, depends on who you ask) for the past Six years. How likely does this outcome sound to you.

Also I think another reason why fans collectively want everyone to die is it gives US closure. We've been starcraft fanboys for upwards to twelve+ years now, and when you've been with a story that long, you want definitive closure. Nothing gives more closure then death. Them dieing in some cacophony of glory means they get immortalized in our minds forever in story.

That would suck. Raynor is like the only Terran with morality and some power at the same time.
