I used to run the 400m dash at a really good level until I got injured right before a huge qualifier. After that year my schedule changed so I couldn't invest 3-4h+ hours a day into training anymore. Since I'm rather competitive and didn't want to do things half way, I just quit track altogether... That was about three years ago.
Nowadays to stay in shape I use mostly body weight exercises so I just do that at home.
