Oh god this is going to be one low post count thread.
Been exercising for 3 years. Last 8 months gym almost entirely, gained about 20 pounds. Starting to look like a beast =D
So, any of you work on your strength/vitality/speed stats IRL ?

I sometimes do.
My friend who recently got me into running is pretty good. He can run cross country 5km at like 4 minutes/km.

I used to swim competitively: ~8000 yards a day, double practices Mon,Wed, Fri at 5:10 AM, weight lifting, running, all that jazz.
I suffered an injury so I don't swim anymore, now I just try to get in as much running as possible.

A moment to boast
In January I was 309 pounds. Finally sick and tired of being fat, tired, unfit, weak etc etc etc, I decided I was going to make some serious life changes.
I started with ice skating a couple days per week. Then slowly into official calorie counting (yuck I know), and into strength training and cardio work out. I was doing 30 minutes on an ellipitcal I purchased, but I wore the damn thing out and broke the back fly wheel off.
Now - I hit the gym 3 times per week for about 1 hr or so, and do 30 minutes of cardio on top of that. This past couple of months I've taken up inline skating, and do anywhere between 10 - 20km per night, 3 - 4 nights per week. It takes me about 1 hr to 1.5 hrs to do that distance depending on the terrain. For our American friends that's roughly 6.5 - 12.5 miles.
It's paid off too. I've dropped 50lbs in 5 months and built up a lot of upper body muscle and leg muscle. Feels nice

I do but I can't get big. I've been training the right way for like 3 years and still didn't grow bigger. I know I got stronger a bit because I can lift some heavy stuff but I'm really not getting bigger at all.

I've weighed exactly 210 for many years, but I really should exercise. I used to work at a summer camp and it was all the exercise I ever needed, but for a while I've just been maintaining a somewhat round stomach -- never growing, never shrinking.

Damn bro, I bet you had a top notch body.
Glad to hear some of you mofos workout. You should exercise even MORE though. Today I did:
1 hr upper body weight lifting.
Bench: 200 lb x 8
Deadz: 320 lb x 6
pull-downs: 120 kg x 10 (don't know how many lb is that)
(also incline bench, bent-over rows (barbell and dumbbell), dumbbell bench presses, fist push-ups, hammer strength rows)
Then 30 min cardio.
Then 1 hr jogging back to my house.
Then tuna + rice (x2) and my PWO protein shake and my nocturnal protein shake. FUCK YEAH

You might want to consider renaming "nocturnal protein shake." That just doesn't sound good.
