Nope it's hell standing in line with so many geeks. And worst part is the looks you get from passing people. Not that I care, but when WotLK came out I was at a party and happened to bike past several stores that all had huge lines, on my way back home.
I'd been in line for Burning Crusade, but we weren't that many back then. It was actually funny listening to big vanilla players talking about Outland would be, but passing by hoards of people (maybe 3-4 times as many as back when BC came out) gave me the impression of them (and myself ofc) as cattle. Don't like that.
Anyway. I'm arriving back from my trip to Italy on the 27th, and my GF will be arriving on another plane, later on, so I'll have time to go to Blockbuster, get my copy, place it home and go back to the airport to pick up my GF. (Can't play anyway before I get back to my current apartment which is 300 kms away from the airport... And since I had a fine experience picking up WotLK the day after, with no stressing issues due to standing in line, getting home, servers full, etc, I'll just pick it up whenever I want to. Much more relaxing, and you get to enjoy your copy (CE ofc) without geeks from all around eying you.![]()
