Not sure there's any way Chess and Checkers couldn't be imbalanced since the biggest differene is between the color of the things.

In Chess, the biggest advantage and possible imbalance is White always moves first. This can be a disadvantage too, though...Black always gets to counter White's first move.

In Checkers, the player that moves first always has a slight advantage over the player that goes second. I spent almost my entire eighth grade year playing checkers every morning with a buddy in our home room. If I went first, I usually won. If he went first, he usually one. I don't know if this qualifies as an imbalance or not...but it certainly puts the second player at a disadvantage.

Calling the game unplayable is far from constructive feedback.

I whole heartedly agree with you Archer, Zerg are lacking something. Though I can't quite put my finger on it being its my least played race; but tell me, you would be fine and dandy with Wings of Liberty being released in July 2011?

Besides that, they are nearly obligated to release it now regardless of the slight imbalances.

The best analogy to use here is road construction. It's like the 2 lane divided road that is becoming an 8 lane expressway. They have to close a lane going each direction and work on it in sections. In the END it will be much better than it was before, but until then we will suffer with sub par conditions.

For ME this game is not just playable, it's highly enjoyable, even as a zerg player. Yes I want the Zerg to become... spicier. It feels restrictive right now, not unplayable, not boring as heck, just less diverse than the other two. In two more years I trust that blizzard will have crafted what most of us want. I don't hold out hope for Demo and Archer, they seem perennially disappointed, but we'll be driving Audubon style by the time HotV hits.

Well, I can say this: thank god it's finally going to be released. I have had this game reserved at my local Gamestop since May 20 2007. I found out about the same time everyone else did, but I was too busy with school to comment on it. Luckily, i'll be done with my papers for my graduate history class and I will be done (and will hopefully pass the 2nd time around) My comprehensive exam to earn my Masters in Library Science. I will hopefully have a part time job but i don't think i'll be going to bed that day until oh lets say 7 am the next day!

No they did not. Unfortunatly I would have had no time to play the beta.

I tried Amazon, they don't ship SC2 2 Israel (darn!)
