Be it through hallowed grounds or lands of sorrow
The Forger's wake is bereft and fallow
Is the residuum worth the cost of destruction and maiming;
Or is the shaping a culling and exercise in taming?
The road's goal is the Origin of Being
But be wary through what thickets it winds.
I'm both South American AND North American. Beat that.
Citizen of both Canada and Suriname.
Actually, the divisions of continents are up for debate depending where you're from. Most places seem to go with the typical seven (N. America, S. America, Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia, Antarctica) while some merge a few together, forming the Americas or Eurasia. There's even one model that says there are only four; the Americas, Oceania, Antarctica and Afro-Eurasia!!![]()
Actually, I was honestly under the impression that it was seven (with N. America and S. America as separate). At least, that's how I learned it in school and how Wikipedia seems to divide them. I know much of Asia and most Anglophone countries seem to use that system as well. I find the whole division of continents to be quite interesting since its as much political, historical and cultural as it is geographic.

Technically Europe shouldn't even be a continent if anything, since it has no oceanic boundaries. But tradition and Euro-centrism seems to trump most things when it comes to convention.
