LoA is planning a staff challenge day in the forum, where we'd meet and hang out with some of you guys, or do a small BO3.

That's a lie Gradius and you should know that. I tried playing with you, and I've wanted to for a while, but you never got around to it.

And I usually don't bug anyone in game unless it's a quick hello or a response from something they messaged me earlier.

So you completely forgot that coaching session we had? Here's a refresher: I only have enough time to play like 1 or 2 games per day max, but you messaged me once or twice as soon as I was done with those and about to leave, so I allotted some time to help you with your play since you were rolling in self-pity in the protoss players thread and complaining that you were in copper and not any good. Now, I actually had to message you like 4 times since you were busy (but I don't blame people when they're too busy to play ). So we finally get a game (to which you said on the livestream "sorry guys, g2g, gradius wants a game"). I gave you a bunch of advice, and you basically dismissed it saying "i have other things to worry about then beta," and declined another game. Cool. It's no surprise you forgot about it.

So basically in the Protoss players thread you weren't really looking for help with your play, just pity. Also the only other game I played with you, which was a 2v2, you randomly left in the middle of it. And from what I've heard, you keep saying stuff like "this isn't worth the effort". So if others don't want to play with you, that might have something to do with it.

Just a heads up, my three 4v4 maps are nearing completion.

And about me not being able to play with many people... I apologize. I know I've told some people, "Sorry, I'm just looking at something before leaving," or "I can't right now, just checking something." I don't mean to be rude and brush people off, but truthfully, I only have time to play (actually playing abount 3 or 4 games) on weekends. Anyways, I'm sorry if I couldn't play with you on a weekday, or because I wanted to get some 2v2s in with staff members.

And LoA and Grad said this already, but we're thinking about how the staff can play more games with the community, which should be fun.

But a problem with a 4v4 staff battle with extra people as commentators is that the staff don't exactly have directly coinciding times to play. So if we want to have some staff show-down of sorts, we'd probably have to plan it way ahead of time.

Some people think that 4v4 will be stupid because of the fact everyone will be rushing but think about this. Sure you may be able to rush and destroy the first two guys. But the 4th guy and maybe the third will be ready for you and when they beat you back they will probably counter attack

Nah, team games aren't always just rush fest even if it's a 4v4.

It's the FFA games that are either rush fests or drag out to an hour long. Since it's either everyone rushes and the last guy swoops in and finishes the other 3 weak players OR everyone is afraid to rush so they all mass up and wait for something to happen.

You cannot expect everyone to have a good memory. There are times when I just can't remember anything like something that happened a few minutes ago. Like that one time I completely forgot how old I was and ended up thinking I was one year younger. And it's not that I don't want to get better, it's that I get frustrated with my inability to retain information. I find it very hard to learn things now a days. And just because I say that there isn't a point, it doesn't mean that's how I really feel. Nine times out of ten, that's how I feel at the moment. And I'm not looking for pity - what would that do me anyways other than annoy me a bit? I do want to get better but it seems that the harder I try, the more mistakes I make. I'm not perfect and I'm far from normal. I can barely remember the counters for one race - it's why I tend to just mass. I'm very slow and because of a lot of things in my life that have happened, my reaction time has decreased incredibly. All of this is why I've given up on the league system unless it's 2v2 - I seem to do better there anyways. And the other reason why I say it isn't worth the effort is because I know I suck and there are several people who seem to enjoy making fun of me. It annoys me and will ocassionally hurt my feelings. I'm sick of being made fun of, I've had enough of that in my life. Yes, I know I suck. Yes, I know I made a mistake. No, you do not have to remind me. No, it is not because I am female. And there are people who want to play with me but I'm sick of doing placement matches over and over again.

On topic: Four versus four would be very nice but I can't imagine my team lasting long enough to actually attempt to ladder if only because it'd be hard getting everyone on at the same time - a lot of the people on my friend's list and those that I play with aren't on that often.

I think 4v4 games eventually degenerate into a load of allegiance shifts and backstabbing of or by teammates.
