Good because I just did a monster gaming session and I just got off for a break
Today's the first day I could play more than a few matches at a time![]()

ONE THING I FORGOT: MAPS
Maps are chosen by you and your opponent. Obviously, maps designed for 2v2 are not allowed. 4 player and 2 player maps are welcome. Lost Temple, Desert Oasis, Steppes of War, the usual.
Remember to have fun in this guys, so no arguing about maps![]()

I made a list of map with images. Xyvik, if you want to put this in the first post, i can send you the code to paste by PM.
In reverse alphabetical order (don't ask):
Steppes of War 1v1
Straight path to attack your enemy. Side paths offer additional resources. Rocks offer access to surprise attack routes.
Scrap Station 1v1
Guard your half of the station from enemy attack. Rocks protect the main path to the enemy, more distant paths are open. The enemy is close by air.
Metalopolis 1v1 2v2 FFA
Your base is easily defended but nearby resources are harder to protect. Watch Towers observe the main paths across the map. Additional resources are challenging to hold in the middle of the map.
Lost Temple 1v1 2v2 FFA
Your base is easy to defend with easily defended additional resources. Watch Towers overlook the central battlefield. Islands contain additional resources.
Kulas Ravine 1v1 2v2 FFA
Destroy rocks to gain access to easily defended resources. Watch Towers overlook the central battlefield. Destroy rocks to open up paths on the top and bottom of the map.
Incineration Zone 1v1
One main path leads to the enemy. Use of the Watch Tower and foliage will determine victory in the main path. Rocks protect an additional path useful for surprise attacks.
Desert Oasis 1v1
This large map makes early attacks more difficult. Watch Towers observe both the long ground and shorter air paths. Islands provide a hidden way to gain additional resources.
Blistering Sands 1v1
There are three paths to the enemy. Controlling the side paths will grant access to additional resources. Controlling the center will give access to a shorter attack distance.
Arid Wastes 2v2
Team play map, your ally is located nearby. Natural expansions are very easy to control and each team can watch over the center of the battlefield with an observatory. Rocks block off additional paths to the enemy.

Our first results are in! The matchup "TychusFindlay VS TheRabidDeer" resulted in a win for TychusFindlay at 2-1. Tychus moves on to the semi-finals and TheRabidDeer gets a giant e-cookie and a thank you for helping to make this tournament a success.

You can sign up for the next one, although it depends. What league are you in?
@jabber: Not yet. I'm working on that. Once enough of the Opening Round is finished I'll start posting up some replays.
We have some more results in! But I'm preparing another post for that, so you'll have to wait![]()
