i found this strategy quite awesome, especially when you're just starting out. i just feel that in this patch carriers are just to OP. i feel as a Terran player just overwhelmed when i am up against them...

oh and someone please enlighten on my strategy..and i don't make any sense, please some one put me in my place! "dont be to mean "

=S being able to produce carriers mean its a long game, and if u are able to survive and produce alot of carriers then u should be able to crush ur opponent so i dont really think its op... and btw u didnt really say anything besides carriers are op... explain wat u did and wat ur opponent did. I really dont see how a bunch of vikings cant stop ur carriers

Zerg here! We have these things called corruptors and with 5 or 6 of them we can focus fire down a carrier in pretty much one salvo! ^_^

vs protoss corruptors are pretty much useless...They are quite powerful vs Terran though...Carriers have more range so i think they can do pretty well vs corruptors...stalkers deal lots of damage vs them, void rays also, and of course the High Templars-both Psi-storm and Feedback is pretty much instant death to the corruptors... > > > High Templar=Massacre to Air units

Overall Protoss has the most powerful units - Collosus, Carrier, Mothership, Archon, Immortal, Void Rays...

on the other hand zerg only have Ultras/BL's while Terran has useless Battlecruisers and the newly buffed and quite usefull Thor...Is it me? or this is quite one sided...?

but how many viks do you usually need to take down a carrier?

well i had a couple of marines and like a viking against a carrier and i ended getting rolled i was just wondering if anybody, felt the same way. seems like my opponent just micro-ed a lot better than myself. i just went over the replay and he smartly headed straight for y econ. making it harder on me to pump out units. obviously i hope blizzard doesn't nurf carriers cause some NUB <=="yes i just referred to myself in 3rd person" said they were "op". although i am sorry i wasnt verry specific with my opinion.
