Best UMS map you've ever played?

Hey, all! I've been a huge fan of Starcraft for more than 10 years now, and I still play it on battle.net. Anyway, since there are so many custom maps that people have made (both good and bad) I was wondering what the best UMS map you guys have ever played?

I think the best map I've played is Nazi Defense. This is the hardest UMS map I've ever played and have only beaten it twice. Insanely fun, and teamwork is essential!

World Diplomacy or War.

Best UMS evahhhh. I just love this game so much. It include all the fun of building an empire while still being fairly simple. Of course, the best part is really all the alliances and BS that occur during the game.

The original Elements RPG is by far my favorite. Surely not the most well-made an intricate Starcraft map, Elements has a really huge nostalgia factor for me. If I take off the rose-colored glasses for a moment, it's easy for me to say that the map is definitely dated. Despite this, it holds the title of being one of the first UMS maps I ever played. Even though it was made with a .SCM tileset and half the unit names were kept default (i.e. "Zerg Zergling," "Zerg Hydralisk," etc), I still find the map enjoyable. I remember playing it for the first time and realizing that Starcraft wasn't limited to typical RTS gameplay. This might sound overly trite, but the map opened tons of doors for me; it not only inspired me to take an interest in mapmaking, but it also stimulated my imagination. I'm just a big fan of "elemental" gimmicks, I guess.

I liked a few of the other Elements maps as well. The later ones started to diminish in quality quite exponentially; Elements: Nuclear Winter, for example, was absolutely abysmal.

its kinda weird but what would blizzard say if someone makes a map, remade like nazi defense, and publishes it?

im from germany, in here this stuff is very ver illegal, but probabl not in the US etc..? hmm

Well you can't name yourself Hitler, hell you can't even name yourself Napoleon which makes me think that Blizzard would be retarded enough to ban this map.

winter glades or winterglades. best RPG ever for sc. similar to elements, but better.
