Copper, but moving up in my division.
Only been playing a week, so that's progress I guess.

Heh I just tried an experiment.. I picked the "Newbie" option for my placement games, went 5-0 (I felt bad stomping, but i didnt play as hard as I could, just made sure to win in the end) and even with the Newbie option, I got placed in Platinum after the 5 games.
So its a good system, even if people want to be jerks like me and bash, it can only last for 5 games before you are back in platinum.

It is a good system, and if you incidentally got placed into Plat through luck, well it'll downgrade you accordingly

Yeah, thanks for the cheer-up :D I just played matches not-so-seriously, and as expected, lost a lot. Now with 9-20 win-lose situation I'm rank 99 in Bronze league ^^'. NOW I can start playing without having too high rank as excuse for my losses :3
Btw, I'm getting confused, ain't there only 4 leagues(plat, gold, silver, bronze) and practice league? Because so many people say 'copper league' which confuses me, does that mean practice league or just differend word for Bronze?

to get into pro you have to be invited/approved by blizzard which i believe is done through your team and/or sponsor

Ooh, so I'm not afterall at the worst possible rank and league :D I think I'm taking this "competetive" thing too seriously though ^^'
Thanks for the replies :) Continuing to climb in Bronze league.
