I have been probe rushed once, how about that? worth the time to win that easy? What would make a game worthless?
It all depends on your own values and how you measure a good game. For a total noob a probe rush may be awesome and totaly worthwhile to play against, while for most its worthless.
I just dont get why people think that being rude is internet related, there is a lot of trash talk and rude people in real life too.
And getting pissed about games is not something rare or new, getting slowrolled in poker can get you really pissed. Im sure some people died cuz they slowrolled the wrong person in the past![]()

I personally enjoy the games I get the people who get frustrated and resort to trash talk. Generally these people are those who lose control of their emotions and do stupid things. It is like poking and prodding your brother/sister to get them to do something to get themselves in trouble.
Honestly I enjoy it so much because I miss playing sports in school. For instance in hockey you could do all kinds of things to get people to take stupid penalties and create power plays. Some people just lack mental control and discipline.

Some games are worthless. I was vs Zerg on field of war and i thought "Lets go hellion whit pre-igniter right off the bat". Just 10 second before my 2 factory (1 reactor, 1 tech lab) kick in he break the wall whit zerling/baneling... I was like "What the ****".
So i typed out "Zomg what a fail, gg".
You can stay cool and polite while losing horribly XD.

I haven't been on the recieving end of too much trash talk yet. There was one guy in ZvZ who skipped his Roach den, got two crawlers and I guessed that he was going mutas, so I teched up to hydra, scouted his spire and put up two spores. When he flew into my base only to be denied, I countered and pwned him with my hydroach. He just said 'Guess team liquid was right, map hack already out.' to which I replied 'it's called scouting noob'. Nerdragequit ensued. I personally don't mind a bit of trash talk, it cracks me up and I never take it seriously. A bit of back and forth with the opposition is always in order.

There are rude people in RL, but MOST people have some manners in a face to face situation, and if they don't have manners they have common sense enough to know they could very well get their teeth knocked out if they act in person how they act online.

I think my ability to be polite also ties in with the fact that I play to have fun first and win second. I don't mind losing - even horribly - and I can still find enjoyment out a game even if I lost. The only time I dislike games is when my partner is constantly nagging at me by telling me what to build and not letting me learn for myself.
And yes, this person knows who they are.
