Ok, we get that Kotick is a bit of a d-bag, but what exactly are you worried about? Are you scared that Blizzard will keep making big franchise games that each have expansion sequels barely on a yearly basis? Isn't that what Blizzard has been doing for the past 15 years post-console development?

Look, i am more than prepared to pay 60 dollars (or 40 euros or whatever) for Wings of Liberty, but let's face it: it's just greed. Developers have been making top franchises for 50 dollars a copy for years, and the game-industry is still there.

What you could do about it? Boycott any Activision-Blizzard games until he resigns. It will never happen, but it would be a pretty cool gesture on the part of gamers-consumers that we're fine with CEO's who watch the bottom line and like to turn a healthy profit, keep the shareholders happy and keep the developers running so they can churn out more good and profitable titles, but that there's a big difference between that and pure, fucking greed. Above quotes should be enough to illustrate what kind of soul-less asshole we're dealing with here. And sure, he might not be the boss of Blizzard, but he is the top-dog of the company that owns Blizz.

In short, I am agitated about this piece of shit because he's pretty much represents everything that is wrong with the gaming industry, and the world in general.

Can't help but be amused by his last name, which for those knowing Russian reads as "Kitty". It may be mean to laugh at someone based on their name alone, but considering the nature of the remarks uttered by the aforesaid gentleman I reserve for myself the right, after all according to him I'm just an "idiot gamer".

But on a more serious note, nasty as Kotick is, he's at least openly honest about it. The far more depressing thought is that his attitude may be typical of the businessmen of his kind, rather than an exception.
