He's great for analysis. His brother is a much better straight-up commentator, though. He's a great commentator/critic.

Honestly I think there both equally good, when tasteless is ALONE he is much much worse than when he has someone like super daniel man as a co commentator - during the TSL chill /day9 combo was sexellent and on par with the artosis/tasteless cast.
I think thats tasteless experience casting lets him mesh well with co casters and he gives off a more professional sports caster like feel to his commentary.
But when day9 is on, he is ON! During the tsl when chill dropped he carryed the cast so well it was awesome.
I think the ploots are easily the best 2 commentators in starcarft followed by Chill/Diggity/Rise/Artosis/SMD etc.

Dont confuse his day9 dailies with casting ;d not sure if thats what you mean ^_^ Tune in this week to the ZOTAC cup to see him casting a tournment I think he provides a pretty good newbie approch, always back tracking and making sure he explains simple things incase someone has just tuned in or is new. When your casting a tournment its important to realise that even if your explaining high level stuff all it takes to make your cast newbie freindly is to point out what is IMPORTANT. In sc1 if the caster mentions that this first vessil is very vital to the terrans build and a tense situation happens you can get exited becasue even if you dont know why its important to this build you know it is and hte commentator is getting exited over it. Oh this would make good thread dicussing casting haha

All I can say is there's a good reason no major teams ever picked him up after his WCG appearance afew years ago. He fucked things up for himself, and maybe his past 2 years of commentating have fixed his reputation abit but before that, he was known as a.. "dine and dasher", type person. All I will say. Ungrateful.
