Obviously everything can be countered because it'd be a crap ass game if there was an IMBA unit.
The point of this thread is to see what people think is the most intimidating unit.
I'm sure if you saw 30 Ultralisks you wouldn't be thinking the same thing compared to if you saw 50 marines.
Countering 30 ultralisks is a lot harder than countering other things. They can do a lot of damage before they die.

A good defensive position/chokepoint can handle a reasonable number of Ultralisks quite well.
I do, however, fear a mass-BC force.

My answer was Ultralisk, because it, to me at least, is the most intimidating unit. If an army of Ultras comes my way, I'll certainly frown.
But factually, it's all about Battlecruisers vs Carriers. Both in numbers can singlehandedly wipe a map of any enemy presence.

Carriers in SC2 need to be remodelled to be intimidating. They current fly out flying binoculars and stupid stuff like donkey skull as its command module
