ah, it doesn't load division 40 correctly, it will do 39 and 41, just not 40.

Your identifier is the second part of your name. It looks like yours is kefka, so your full name is kefka.kefka. It says you are in Gold league and I am currently only getting Platinum data.
However, I do happen to missing names from division 40 of platinum (as well as 45) so they are missing from my site right now.

Im 1450 in Platinum div 8, and I find this point system to be totally lame. It seems every game I am favored, and if I win I only get like 9 pts, but everygame I lose I lose 16+.. meaning if I go like say 5-2 on the day, I only am up like 10 pts total. Its really lame, because everyone loses games eventually, either to cheese/whatever, so if I lose one game within 3, I feel like one step forward, two steps back kinda thing.
Making it very hard to climb =/

Actually it IS used to rank you globally.
The hidden score isn't only used to match you with people from other divisions. As I said earlier, the "bnet skill" is used for all matches, which means that you can play a guy who's "ranked" higher than you in the same division, but you can still be favored.
This is one of Bnet's flaws imo.
Regarding the bot, how could someone from gold know his rank? Would he automatically put everyone in platinum above himself? No, that wouldn't be true. And would someone in copper even care about his rank?
I really think having a global ranking system only makes sense for Plat.
Yeah he needs someone from division 40 in his friend-list to update it. You could contact him and help him fill in the blank.ah, it doesn't load division 40 correctly, it will do 39 and 41, just not 40.
Well, falling in "points" is hard, because of their silly bonus point system (and the absence of decay), but falling in rank isn't that hard if you're winning less than 50% of your games, since the other players in your division will be gaining points and you'll be stagnating. Your rank isn't only determined by your points, but also by the other's points. And the average of these points is increasing on a daily basis.Falling in rank is difficult.
Of my last three games, I lost one (vs an opponent slightly favored over me), and lost 1 point. I won my last game (against a slightly favored opponent), and got 32 points. (Even without bonus points, I would have gotten 16, or 12 had we been equally favored.)
I hope the first five match system gets fixed; otherwise people can smurf for a while by deliberately losing the placement matches. (Dropping out, having dinner, etc.)
The examples you use are only of games where your opponent was favored. Losing when you're "favored" will cost you over 18 points (which, again, is irrelevant since you can catch that up with bonus points).
Regarding going up and down in leagues, I don't know how their system works but I'm assuming it uses the "bnet skill" system, rather than the points/rank system, which means that bonus points don't jump into the equation, and you might not even notice you're going down!
For instance, if you've been losing a while, your "bnet skill" will go down, so you'll be paired with people from an inferior league as "evenly matched". Then, if you win you'll be winning 12 points, and if you lose you'll lose 12 too, but you'll be playing lower "ranked" players and you'll be stagnating.
Basically, after a while playing like that, bnet will push you down one league so that you can be in the "right" league, where your points can stagnate, unless you actually improve a whole lot.
Again, I don't like the bonus points because they give you the false impression that you're moving up, while you really aren't. However, they screw up the fact that when you stagnate at xxxx points, that means you're accurately ranked, and now you need to push yourself harder to beat better players.

Similar problem here until the reset. Now I just don't have enough time to rank up quickly. I've got a 60+% win ratio though, but just not enough points.
With the current system, the best way for you to rank up is to NOT play.... Wait three days, you'll have about 40 bonus points, and then even winning against "unfavored" players is worthwhile. Needless to say this is flawed...... I hope it changes soon.
It just so happens, I don't have the time to play much, so this is convenient, but really stupid.

I'm sure he has some feedback system, all you would have to do is tell him what your Bnet name is (kefka.what right?)
Don't worry about playing thoughI'm sure he'll get someone new eventually, even if you rank down.
