Falling in rank is difficult.

Of my last three games, I lost one (vs an opponent slightly favored over me), and lost 1 point. I won my last game (against a slightly favored opponent), and got 32 points. (Even without bonus points, I would have gotten 16, or 12 had we been equally favored.)

I hope the first five match system gets fixed; otherwise people can smurf for a while by deliberately losing the placement matches. (Dropping out, having dinner, etc.)

Ok I got a question.

I got the beta not long ago, and started playing 2v2 matches with my friend.
We where alittle rusty at the start and got placed in the bronze legue. After about 5 matches we suddenly started playing matches without reciving points. We checked if we had begun another set of placement matches, but we haddent.
After some matches we suddenly where placed in the gold league, where we play all our matches now. And when i check the ladder and "My leagues" (Or something) it showes that me and my friend (Our team) Plays in both bronze and gold (Not playing in bronze anymore) But we are signed up with points and rank.
So is this a bug or a common problem or what is it?

I'm not in the beta so I'm not 100% sure on this, but maybe one of you are playing gold alone and the other plays in bronze alone, thus is why you see both leagues displayed in your team.

So maybe it tries to find another team with a gold and bronze player, instead of averaging it out to silver?

Yeah, that sounds like a glitch. Hopefully they'll get that fixed before release.

Wrong, your division doesn't affect the amount of points you win/lose. That means that if you've got 1200 points, and your buddy in another division has 1300 points, he's ranked higher in the overall "server ranking".

I didn't mean that it affects the amount of points you min/lose. I meant that point value is used to rank you within your division, not globally. Battle.net has some other hidden score that a person is assigned for their overall ranking (so it knows who to match you with).

And as for that bot you linked to, it has no use for 90% of users since it seems like its only ranking platinum players.

What's your name.identifier?

It currently only has U.S. Platinum divisions, and it does have most of them updated daily (you can see the last update time near the top of the site).
