I was going to figure out the SC2 Terran themes by ear and make a video of me playing them... but since nobody seems to really like it i won't bother, I'll keep it to myself.
Anyway, I love the Terran music, both new and old. I feel Sc2's Terran muisc captures the essance of the old but adds upon it by the use of dynamics. Just my opinion.
Back with all gun's blazing.

I completely agree with you on this. The Protoss theme is actually my second favourite of the revealed (Battle.Net 2.0 theme being so good I actually reckon it was the only one that truly fit the game) but the indiscrete choir wrecked it for me. I don't know if it's just Russell Brower, but it seems in all of Blizzard's recent orchestral tracks, they all have very unsubtle choirs. It sounds terrible. In the Protoss and SC2 main themes, I almost puked when I heard the ostentatious 'HOH!'s. It's okay for the Brood War theme, because it's meant to be, but for the SC:Ghost portion and in the Protoss track, if they were to be removed, it would greatly improve Blizzard's work on the SC2 music.
Another good help would actually be to vary the terran themes. They follow the same guitar theme throughout almost all of them. On the contrary, the violin piece in the fourth track (I think, or the fifth) was actually a good edition. I strongly dislike the first, second and third tracks. The second half of the fourth and first half of the fifth are decent enough.
The Zerg.. I don't know, the intensity was lost that the original's Zerg music brought to the game.
As for other audio -- I absolutely despise the voice work done for the RTS game. The Reaper, Viking and the Marine are some of the few that I've come to like, but their dialogue (Marine's is alright though) could be a lot better.

yes. but im talking about music from the later final fantasy series like ff8, ff9, ff10, and ff13. The violin and guitar part really reminds me of music from games like final fantasy.
hear it again around

@1:00 and 1:16, 1:30 violin enter, also @5:50 reminds me of final fantasy or other similar games.
this one is a ff13 battle theme.

listen to the violin piano guitar etc... typical final fantasy music. This one is a little fast but other ff themes are slow and relaxing just like the terrans.
and this ff8 theme sounds badass and warlike which i think is also a good for terran music minus the flute sounds.

See the resemblance between the sc2 terran music and final fantasy, its kinda similar.

First, I gotta say that the first time I heard the SC themes I instantly fell in love with them.
That said, if I had the music for SC2 my way, I would have dynamic music that would change based on battle activity. All sorts of game integrate this. One of my favorite examples is a '98 game called Populous: the Beginning. During times without battle, the music would be very ambient with winds and fluid synths. Once a battle started, however, war drums would start to play. Light battles would only get a bit of drum work, but as battles progressed in size, the drums layers would get louder, more numerous, and more upbeat. It was totally epic.
Here are the tracks from that game (set to autoplay) they sound best in 480HQ:

I would have to say I love the Terran music and is one of the main reasons I have for playing as them.

I haven't really listened to the music for SC2 that much.
I have it turned off because I'm playing on a sucky laptop that can't handle it on top of everything else.
Perhaps I'll start a Custom AI game on slowest and just listen to it or something.

After playing a couple of times with my friend's beta, the only thing I can say about the music is that it has grown on me.
I certainly hope the classic music will still be available for the 3 races, but I really liked the new music.
While listening to the video with the two Terran tracks electricmole said he didn't like, I could almost hear my army's quotes, my SCVs saying "In the rear with the gear,Yeah, whatever, you're the boss" my siege tanks saying "Got no patience to sit in the rear!" and the marines saying "Who want's some!?".
I must admit that I hope they will add some tracks with a different feeling for the 3 races with the expansions like it happened with BroodWar where they added a track with a slightly different feeling for each race.
EDIT
I love this Protoss track!
