We probably dodged the bullet. Rumor has it that they tried to make B-net 2 awesome enough to warrant us paying monthly for it, or at least have a bundle package that would include something like WoW and D3 when it comes out.

Btw until I heard the localization Bllizz did for the polish version I was greatful, but when I heard it I wanted to punch someone in the face. In my life I have never felt soo much pain in my head. The worst part os that there will be only one language to choose, if I was lucky as other Poles who can't buy it in England, I would be pist off even more

Actually, this is a Buff for the Russians, a nerf for the rest of the world
Russia:
2 (or more?) options
Cheap but limited time
or
expensive but unlimited
RoW:
1 option, no choices.... no macro (expensive unlimited) v. micro (cheap temporary) tension.
only macro... stupid spawn EU/USMULE/Asiaboost
Americans are the one's getting milked.
Honestly, this would be a good model for Blizzard to provide everywhere. (unless they believe that people will only play Starcraft 2 for a few months and then quit)

@Demo: The president line was unnecessary. If you feel the tone of Spychi's posts were inappropriate you should report them for moderation and not take it into your own hands. Stay on topic regarding the Russian price model.
@Spychi: I can see where your coming from if I read your posts as if your tone is rational/conversational. The perceived tone is definately on the angle of bitching. Try to work to build a constructive tone around these forums and it might assist in contributing constructive responses.
@Everyone else: It looks like if they want the same version as the rest of us, they'll pay for it like the rest of us. BLizzard is providing alternative cheaper options for the good amount of the population who would like to still enjoy the game but would not be able to afford it by other means than piracy. Ultimately, It's the creation of options, not limiting of options.
Please continue the discussion regarding the Russian pricing model and options.
EDIT: I went back and just deleted the off-topic posts. If your post was deleted, don't feel offended, I'm just looking forward to the way this conversation will go and wanted to ensure the previous tangent wasn't followed.

A one time fee for the rest of the world is not 'getting milked'. It's the standard price for practically ANY game you buy.
If you don't like it, you have options like holiday discounts, waiting for bargain bin prices (Good Luck) or finding promotions like Gamestop's recent Collector's Edition online coupon.
Will there be discounts for a micro-transactions? I would highly doubt it.
