I think the collector's edition for Warcraft III was about ~$100 give or take. What worries me the most is this bit:
Emphasis mine. Those who simply want to play the game will be able to pick up the normal edition of StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty for $60. Look for the official release date to be revealed in the coming weeks.
Sure, it's only $10 more than what PC gamers are used to paying for games, and it's a price that console gamers have been paying for some time now. Even so, there's been a lot of fuss made about this (Modern Warfare 2 comes to mind), what do you think?

Well; it depends on the length of each track.
I was under the assumption that each individual track is just a segment of the race music but it's probably 4-5 songs per race on each track along with some special campaign music.
I donno.

Now that is something that I would like to have. But I don't feel like paying $100 for that one item that I want. It's bad enough the set contains The Art of StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty, a 176-page art book filled with illustrations and concept art that should make an excellent companion piece to the art books for the second and third installment.

Also interesting to note they're including a World of Warcraft pet with the special edition. I wonder, how many Starcraft players also subscribe to WoW?

Scientists measure a second as the duration of 9,192,631,770 periods
of the radiation corresponding to the transition between the two hyperfine
levels of the ground state of the caesium 133 atom.
Or the duration of 9,192,631,770 matches where David Kim crushes you head to head in StarCraft 2
