No it wasn't. :P
The Void Ray is different, though. It can actually deal with armored ground. And is useful in smaller numbers.
One thing at a time.I take it back,Terran changes aren't good,Why the hell didn't they do anything about the battlecruiser??? Sure i like terran mech,BUT Terran Fleet on the other hand i love...
Let's let Terran mech annihilate Zerg for now, then they can buff the Battlecruiser!

What the hells the infestor going to do? Any good Terran player will kill it immediately. And Thor one shot-them and Siege Tanks two-shot them and have 11 range.
As for air... what is air going to do against the Thor? I mean I GUESS Brood Lords, but those are tier 3. You need to build 4 buildings in order to get air. And you won't hold off a factory push while you tech up to that with roach/hydra in it's current state.

Delayed... by 50 minerals. Half a Zealot. They could before... also you're forgetting the armor cut. So Queens will KILL them a lot faster as well. And Void Rays will be delayed by quite a bit.
And no, Queens won't kill them faster. Because VRs do 2.5x more damage to them in the early stages now.
Roaches were never very useful vs. Terran anyway; not unless they had Hellions. So that doesn't matter. What matters is that they reduced the effectiveness of burrowed movement, which means that half of the utility of Roaches is lost. Mutalisks will never see the inside of a Terran base, not with Turrets and Thors prancing about. So Terrans are effectively able to lock their entire base down.4. Half of the MM ball got its beating too, so relatively speaking, nothing's changed enough where Roaches are useless.
Outside of the build time increases, the patch didn't really do anything to Factory-based play vs. Zerg. Roaches never relied much on their armor to deal with Factory units, and the only thing that changed about Hydralisks was that they're guaranteed one-shotted by Thors without an upgrade. That's fairly minor, since Thors aren't the real damage dealers in that arrangement (Siege Tanks are). And you won't hold off a factory push while you tech up to that with roach/hydra in it's current state.

Well a buff to protoss air is always good. I've always wanted to try a pheonix VR build against a zerg and start waisting overlords and tech buildings. The maurauder change was needed because they kited units way to effectively and the terrans needed to get hit with something. Not sure how the cange is going to play out though.

Given the changes in Marauder, are Marines now likely to see ANY use outside of Bunkers?
