Then it's all cool. As I said, never played them so I couldn't know all the facts. If they are immune to slowing effects, i mean, it's perfect.

Slow doesn't affect them but well microed marauders will still pwn any ultralisks.

This. It is much easier to Micro Marauders especially with Stim Pack. 10 Marauders do ~200 damage per attack to Ultras. That is a lot for Tier 1 Unit. Whole this thing is about that if you know that Zerg is going mass Ultras(which won't happen, this is just speculation), you can beat it with just massing Marauders, which just sounds wrong. I know there should be counters and hard counters, but Tier 1 unit should successfully counter tier 3 unit and slaughter it cost for cost. Even when Microed. They should have a chance, but that is it, have a chance, not completely own it...

The problem isn't that marauders counter ultralisks. It's that they counter the ultra pretty hard while being able to handle so many other units. And they don't really get hard countered.
Of course T1 units can counter T3 units. Have you seen marines fight carriers/BCs? The reason marines aren't imba against carriers is that marines get hard countered by a bunch of other things, so you can't respond to BC with pure marines, while you "could" respond to ultralisks with pure marauders (technically, only muta counter them, and it takes a while to build up a muta army, while pumping some marines/vikings takes a second, and if you're afraid of too many mutas comming your way, you'll have more than enough time to bring out a thor).

I believe the lings have Adrenalin Glands (attack upgrade). But yeah, they're 0-0.
Saw this before. Still awesome.

The only time I've used Ultras was in a ZvZ matchup. We had both gone hydra / ling and I eventually started to mix the ultras to absorb a bit more damage for the hydras. The only reason I chose ultras at the time was because I had some of the melee upgrades for lings (it was a long ass game). Now a days I much prefer to go brood lord to ultras since this also allows me the tech into Mutas. A small bit of mutas in just about any matchup can do amazing amounts of harassement. Keeping your opponent off balance is far more useful in the long run than what you gain in benefits from getting ultras sadly.

Do Zerg units regen on creep or nah? I know they move faster, but if they regen, that ultra had a bit of an advantage!

So, the ultra , the Cruiser and the carrier, are the units that nobody have seen in the game...
