The fact that they are fixing visual aethetics this late in production is amazing.

They went through a pretty big visual change for Zerg buildings, and even now we aren't certain that every building they have will make the final cut. Even the Lurker Den got the cut for the beta.
One reason bleeding animations aren't done yet is because they don't want to spend time making animations for every building until they finalize what is being used and what isn't. It's a waste of time and effort making animations for a building that could be obsolete.

I just said it COULD be. Usually the art teams step up their work even faster when the game nears its release. And nearing release would mean balancing is almost finished.
Hopefully, hopefully, the latter part of that particular equation is not true, and the art team is simply doing their job.![]()

I never really noticed these effects were missing.
I would buy this game even if it ships in its current state.
(Although, I'd be more satisfied with the finished product.)
