    Roach

Organic Carapace no longer grants bonus regeneration to unburrowed roaches.

Yes,they had to ruin the roach and their usefullness in T3 :X WHO whined about roaches unburrowed regeneration ???? do they know that it requires HIVE??? This patch is the most stupid of all....I really wonder who will be silly enough to research the Organic Carapace anymore????

People who use burrowed movement with Roaches. They have enough regen to basically ignore static defenses, even when they are detectors. They can go anywhere.

The Zerg static defense buffs are very nice. Particularly since I just started using them in my builds.

Everything else is a bit strange. That missile turret buff is PAINFUL for Mutalisk use.

The banshee buff is crazy, though... good thing zerg got the spore crawler's cost reduced.

And yes,the only difference is that while unburrowed they can't attack, which in large battles is critical....

like the changes, except the roach and high templar ones.
I always thought high templars are really weak now and rarely used.
The roach T3 250/250 upgrade now sucks and is basically useless.

I've got the feeling that the high Roach regen above ground was an unintended bug, because before this patch the description for the upgrade was increased regen while burrowed — not while above ground. I don't think it's as much a nerf as it is a fix.

Nope it said 'Increases roaches regeneration while burrowed and unburrowed'

Hmmm I really like this patch overal, specially the turret change.

My only gripe is the pointless banshee nerf, like it was already doing amazing and being used in almost every matchup - theres really no reason to nudge up the HP o.0 Oh well its not a amazing change

The Psi storm nerf I was expecting. They were powerful in the vid reps I've seen. Same with the Broodlord. Thor change is good.

The Zerg Crawlers got HUGE buffs. I thought spore crawlers had a lot of health, and now their cheap too. Spine crawlers are also way more powerful. Photon Cannons also have 1.5x the hit points they did in SCI. Watch cannon pushes make a return.

I guess Defensive structures weren't seeing enough use, but darn, they made this decision very quickly.

And that's the point. If you want to use them in large battles, you need to use burrow micro to make them useful. Otherwise, you relegate them to ground-based harassment purposes (tasks like "go under their army and take out their Siege Tanks"). The burrow regen allows them to do this even if the enemy has detection, because many more of them will survive to see the enemy.

Now personally, I think that they should buff the OC regen back up to +20, undoing the nerf from last week.

I've got the feeling that the high Roach regen above ground was an unintended bug, because before this patch the description for the upgrade was increased regen while burrowed — not while above ground.
No; the Organic Carapace was specifically stated to be a double-upgrade. It provides above ground regen and enhances burrowed regen.
