Default I will not be buying SC2

I loss about 20 games this morning without a single win. This game is to complicated. I hate the new gathering mechanics. I think there is just to much going on to even get good at this game. I have tried all three races and it is just way to complicated for a simple build a base and destroy game. I might try dawn of war 2 or something before i buy this game.

Oh 5 wins since the ladder reset.

What exactly do you object to in the "gathering mechanics"?

I liked the orginal of having only one geyser that did not ever go empty.. I think it is too complicated to having two geysers. Everything costs gas now too and the mechanics for getting it just isn't there.

No. Deep down the problem you have is that you suck at a game that just got released and you're upset. What did you expect? StarCraft 2 wouldn't take any adjusting? That it would be 3D StarCraft: Brood War?

Well that and that every building has it's own special ability. There is not a single building that does not have it's own neat feature. I think they added to much complication to what used to be a simple game. I have tried countless strats and people say that i am doing everything right i just keep getting outplayed. How can i be doing everything right and still getting outplayed. I am very frustrated when i can't even win one game out of 30 that i play? How is that supposed to be fun?

Here i will play a couple and post the replays and you will see that i am just suck at this game.

And the progamers complained that Blizzard "dumbed the game down" too much. You can never please everyone.

SC2 is hardly a complicated game buddy. It just takes time to get used to.

Seriously, have you ever played Homeworld or anything similar? Those are multitudes of times more complicated than SC2.

I would be surprised if someone who was competent at SC1 really struggled at SC2 (it makes me wonder if the problem is that the OP primarily played money maps in SC1; but the comment about the single geyser seems to suggest otherwise). Sure, there are some new things to learn, but the basic structure is basically unchanged. And there are all kinds of strategies (e.g. massing marines/marauders) which don't take much skill but still work a good portion of the time.
