And how did you end up in Bronze? I haven't done my placement matches yet, so I'm curious how harsh the new system is! Do you like end up in Bronze even if you're 3-2, or something like that?

I got placed in Bronze too which is strange because there are people who say I'm a higher skill level than that. And it doesn't help that 4 out of 5 placement matches for one of my 2v2 teams were crashes so we ended up getting put in Bronze.

I'm doing my 5v5 placements as Protoss. Done my first 3 all pretty easy wins. The only trouble I had was with Zerg. Then I beat a Protoss, and a Terran in that order. 3 - 0 so far! Woo! Diamond here I come!

I constantly get my character erased and so I am eternally in placement matches starting over and over again. I've earned the "first win" achievement quite a few times now :/

Well I mean the SC:L stream

I think I won 2 match and lost 3 or won 1 and lost 4 and so they placed me in bronze I was kinda pissed after losing to a cheese in my third match so I kinda messed my 4th and 5th match by doing reaper rushes that failed :s.

But whatever, I'm already rank 1 silver so I'll get back to the top leagues in no time! Well, I mean I would if the beta wouldn't end in 2 days.

I believe the system is too harsh though. I don't belong in bronze at all and I feel bad for the noobs there that will end up against extremely better players than them.

On another note, I moved up to silver after winning 2 games and losing one. I'm really starting to think that the promotion system works with what you do in game(APM, using your resources, etc) and not just your win ratio.

I too got placed in bronze but was promoted to low teens in silver after very few matches.

I only got into gold. I lost my last match. This Zerg teched roachs. I could of probably beat him but I decided to build a cannon in his base. Hahaha.
