    Roaches are strong unit,and by no means 'slow',I mean they have a nice upgrade that costs only 100/100,I like them very much even though i don't play Zerg,Stats should be the same,Only their cost needs to be 100/25 as much as the marauder BUT supply must stay 1 cuz they need to be massed anyway,Hell without the tough roaches Zerg will be took out by marines/marauders and zealots/stalkers even before they reach the hydras,till T2 you have only lings....The 16 flat damage is so that they can fend off and be even with Terran and Protoss T1,Altough i agree that for it's cost roaches are VERY powerful...

    All this is true, except the 'slow' part. Because they are really really slow, they are slower than most of Tier 1 Units, and they have Upgrade which is Tier 2 upgrade. Even with upgrade thy don't become fast as other units with speed upgrades(Zealots, Zerglings, Banelings, Reapers), they get on pair with those units without upgrades.

    Yes,but there is always creep tumors and overlords,Although the speed upgrade is good,even though they don't reach fast movement(they are probably near the border of normal/fast) But still they are faster(with the upg) than hydras, unustimed M&M,zealots,sentries,etc,and anyway till T2 they are almost always used in defence of your expo and main,so they can benefit from the creep,once you get t2 you get into the offensive(judging by the majority of reps from the platinum)...

    Imo, stalkers are weaker and even more useless. Sure, they can help a bit early-mid game. But mid-late, they become a lot more useless. Their removal of bonus upgrades is gonna be really damaging imo. They're the only GTA on the Protoss team. And most of air is armored. This is gonna be a pretty decent impact on the Protoss. With full ups, you're getting 3 less damage against them than you did before the 'buff'. I just think overall this is gonna hold a negative impact.

    More and more nerfs for the Protoss...

    Stalkers are MORE effective now and they don't have trouble against air now, or previously. Its a myth that still plagues people since the very very early week 1 to week 2 gameplay. where no one knew anything about balance and strategies.

    Again, Protoss have enough GTA and specific ATA and they are not weak in that regards, plus the sentry's shield ability which reduces ranged attack by 2 is huge.

    Immortals make short work of armored units, so they are not weak in that regard also and I'm tired of hearing this total noob like whining "protoss are weak". Its very stupid, not helpful, not insightful and irritates a lot of people and especially me.

    If you have a balance concern, be more specific to which unit it applies, how it applies, give few examples, tell us how it can be fixed and provide how you think your fix is going to result on the overall balance. !!!!!!

    Honestly, Stalkers dominate now. They're so much stronger in the early-mid game. Which is where they were actually weak. They were really strong in the late-game.

    They're the only GTA on the Protoss team. And most of air is armored.
    They are not. Sentries and Archons are GTA too.

    With full ups, you're getting 3 less damage against them than you did before the 'buff'. I just think overall this is gonna hold a negative impact.
    It's a huge buff. Not against armored air. But most of the air stalkers actually had trouble with were banshees and mutalisks.

    They were really good against armored stuff when you got those upgrades anyway, so they generalized it a bit more. Made it better against zerg overall but worse against terran/protoss in the late-game. Which is where they were incredibly strong.

    Look, no need to insult someone for an opinion. I was simply stating how I saw it from an outside perspective. I for one am not in the beta, so I can't exactly test these things...

    Oh ya, forgot those ones. I naturally forget about Sentry as an attacking unit, considering it's usually more of a spellcaster and is a little squishy.

    Can you tell me how good the Archon is? I heard he lost his splash damage, with that, it seems he'd be a lot less effective, wouldn't he?

    The Archon is not good,it's GREAT ! Now it deals insane damage vs biological,AND i just made a test in both BW and SC2,the splash damage is actually better in SC2 considering the better pathing of units ! But yeah considering their gas cost,they should at least get some attack speed,currently they are too slow,but overall are still kicking ass...

    Careful with how much you boast their greatness, Blizzard may nerf 'em.
