Well. Not too many demos show off exploration... and we saw two dialogue trees and even a new way to do dialogue trees. (i.e. A way to interrupt the enemy soldier) So I don't know what you mean by that.I was disappointed by mass effect 2, seems too much like a generic shooter, where are all the talk options, investigation and the feel of exploration?
As for investigation... um... what do you mean? In the sense of a mission or in the sense of a dialogue tree? Because we got an 'investigate' option in one of the dialogue trees, the person playing the demo just decided not to go into it. As for missions... again, not going to show those off in a short demo.
The thing with ME2 is that in ME1, the RPG elements and the dialogue options were fine. The story was great, they have no reason to impress us in this field because they're known as the best when it comes to plot and dialogue. What was bad, was the combat. The shooting was clunky, and there weren't a whole lot of options.
So what are they going to show off more in a demo? Their brand new streamlined shooting mechanics? Or their dialogue trees which are as credible and impressive as ever?
Anyone else REALLY impressed with the atmosphere and writing in Arkham Asylum? Dini is really on his game.
