    No it's not,I tried it yesterday,i made a test researched the 3 armor upg for BC's and 0 for attack,the AA attack deals 6 damage vs 6 armor and only the third or fourth attack dealth 1 damage ! So i guess the minimum is either 0.33 or 0.25...


    p.s @pure.Wasted...17sec faster for banshees.But you forget that you need at least a second starport,a tech lab,and banshees take more time to build,they have slower movement then mutas,can't attack air,cost more food,and not easilty massable...

    I'd propose the cost increase for Roaches, something like 75/75 or at least 50 in gas. And Colossi to add to Immortals.
    Uh no, then they would be to cost heavy for what they do... They currently are Strong for they cost, I think they should cost 100/25 and it would be balanced. Giving it higher gas cost, no one would even bother making them, they would tech straight to Mutas or Hydras.

    thats a nice video, well palyed by the protoss. i think nicol is on to something though; you cant straightforwardly outmacro a zerg player that hasnt been disturbed or weakened if he plays a rational game and is able to keep tabs on your actions & unit choises..

    with concerns to that video i'd like to prolong that argument by pointing out that uses the zerg flexible production mechanic can try his very best to stall for taht crititical moment where his numbers, positioning and unit comination is optimal toards yours; anticipating teh effect of those forcefields he'd a done best in pulling the mutas & everything sle back out of range, looking for a new time window to attack.


    ... sentries seem like a good answer to mutas, but vs a decent zerg, youll probably need to make decent use of its abilities too.. halucination probably holds great potential.
    I am an enthusiast of good strategy games, sc2Esports and rollplay, although i dont really play anything atm.
    I work an internship at a government agency this fall, and have a good time at it.

    As for Hallucination, if the Zerg is decent all he needs is an overseer and to manually pick off the real Stalkers by focus firing.

    No, Gifted gave out a specific build order with various transition points and timings. That's a far cry from a general "make more Sentries" post.
    Uhm, what? The actual point of my post was that DS thanked Gifted for a more specific version of an idea he had already rudely dismissed multiple times? It makes no sense. Am I really the only one who notices this? While it's great that Gifted knows Squid's bizarre & otherworldly criteria for what constitutes good advice, the rest of us folks need to know what he's looking for too. Anyone could have given a build order, but few people will for an idea that has already been dismissed as "too gas heavy".

    Well, first, I wasn't aware that "MutaRoach" included Zerglings. Second, is there any proof for this or is this just from your experience of playing people below your skill level? Are we just expected to agree and say "yes, zerglings/mutalisks can't be beaten" when all the races have a roughly equal amount of wins on the platinum ladder? Now, I do think the PvZ matchup needs work, but it's the speedling builds which leave Protoss vulnerable, such as 14 gas speed. So Protoss should always have a few initial Zealots anyway.

    Again it would be nice if DS posted a replay so that we could stop arguing in these vague terms.

    Only if he doesn't scout it. Overseers can usually be built pretty fast even if you can sneak up on him. You'll only have enough time to kill one of his hatcheries, and by that time the Zerg will usually have a second expo to mine from even if you manage to do so. But yeah it does work sometimes. Goes for Terran too.
