    Which late game unit is LEAST effective?

    Carrier

    Mothership

    Thor

    Battlecruiser

    I chose battlecruisers personally, because
    I have not seen them much in-game.

    Thor is at the same tech as the Goliath. Its not late game.

    I'm going to say Mothership in its current form. I'm not going to pay 400/400 for an Arbiter.

    Same here,completly useless,need a major rework !!! make it a support unit like the mothership and the problems will be solved...

    Battlecruisers still have critical mass - you can get steamrolled by them just as easily as in the original if there's enough. Ultralisks not only don't have that but they're just not worth the money. :/

    The Thor is very uninspiring as well.

    The Thor is practically useless. I'd rather invest in Siege tanks and Vikings. Broodlords seem to be an alright late game unit as long as the player can use them effectively.

    As a Zerg player, I find Thors to be a massive pain in the butt .

    I personally vote for Ultralisks. You only have so much gas to spend, and Zerg almost always goes for Brood Lords as their Hive Tech of choice since they usually give more bang for their buck .

    Well, that doesn't make them least effective, just underused...

    I would say the thor, too slow and compared to the rest of those units, would pretty much get owned

    How exacly ??? They cost 400/300 , can be beaten by every unit cost for cost,takes forever to build,and do you really think you will be able to get a 'critical mass' in multiplayer game? AND even if you get you will get 'steamrolled' by the more powerful for cost corruptors,vikings,rays,hydras,...so BC's rule the chart...Ultras are a major power dudes 600hp the highest in the game,hacking away dozens of enemy's with few swipes,for tier 3 they are probably the most effective unit reggarding it's cost...
