The Lurker was almost as iconic as the hydra. Some of the sc1 units are missed, alot.

I think that the Lurker's Ranged, Linear splash damage is still different enough from the CQC Multi-Unit splash of the Banelings/Ultralisks - especially if it was given Siege range. They also seem like they'd be really helpful in being able to attack past Sentry blockades (whereas the Banelings/Ultralisks cannot).

Zerg had fewer units than T/P before, losing another hurts. I'm still hoping for another unit or two added to MP before SC2 goes gold.

It seems like the Zerg are too Roach-centric this days. They have more HP and deal more damage than most of the Zerg units, and their cost is a damn joke. They don't seem to have much weaknesses, or i'm wrong?

The only time I really spam Roaches is in ZvZ. In ZvT I don't even use them at all. Against Protoss, they're only good against tier 1 units. Once the first Immortal comes out it's a downhill battle. But I don't open with Roaches anyway because they can be repelled by Stalkers + Sentries while the Protoss sits in his base and techs. As a Zerg, once you let the Protoss get out a handful of Immortals or Colossi, it's gg for you, even if you expanded.
I'm fine with the Zerg as they are now. Banelings suffice for splash damage, but it takes alot of work to fend off an M&M ball even with Banelings. Maybe if they increased the speed increase of the baneling upgrade. Ultralisks - I still see no use for them.

There amazing vs toss!!!
Hive roaches are pretty much never bad!
I find roaches nesssary vs protoss, needs to soak up damage so my hydras can stay alive long enough to kill them.
Also you can use the overpowered burrow regen and movement to push forward towards the backlines with your roaches and pop up under there colossi, if they move back your hydras are getting free shots and if they dont move back then they get sandwiched.
Usually I open with roaches, and swap to hydra then they start building colossi instead of immortals and I swap back to roaches. Just remember to get a spire so you can fast swap to muta and pretty much instant win unless there prepared for it already.
In ZvT I think there less useful but might end up being necessary vs mech.

Are you kidding me? Have you seen the attack speed of that monster? They do 18 full splash in a large radius,1 of these can take on legions of marines !!! Coupled with some infestors to cast the deadly Fungal growth, and it's gg for the Terran...BUT because they tier 3 people they are present only in late games...As for roaches their stats don't need tweaking, maybe increase the cost to 100/25 or some other minor thing...
