pheonix+viking. Not only dose it give you air superiority but you can G beam units with all of your pheonix and have the vikings kill them.

Phoenix+Corrupter would probably be good... they can deal with anything (except Thors) [ie everything is either lifted or disabled]

Nope corruptors are weak vs air except vs massive-but nowdays who aren't-collosi,carriers,bc's and brood lords...A nice viking armada will defeat phoenixes and corruptors pretty easily...

Yeah. but that's totally pointless now because now you use a universal food limit which is 200 no matter how many different races you are in control of.

I wouldn't say it's pointless. You can still get a different mix of units even if the total troops you have is the same.

Hmm,maybe if the vikings were light,probably...BTW if you noticed Phoenixes are the Fastest unit in the game,can both catch up to mutas and fire at them at the same time,so their role is pretty clear...

I think that protoss air is a bit funky right now because the only one of the three thats good at dealing with a normal army is the carrier. Pheonix and rays are very specialized compared to the carrier.

Phoenix don't seem to be the same colossus counter that corruptors and vikings do so well against.

Voidrays are probably the Colossus Counter


Anyways, any pair with Terran.... I've seen threads reporting that SCVs can repair protoss (I can't confirm since I don't have beta)

But that would mean that if Your ally is Terran all your hp can be recovered quickly and easily with Medivac/SCV Support.
