Thread: Confirmation: League Reclassification Can Go Down

Default Confirmation: League Reclassification Can Go Down

So I was informed that you could not go down in leagues, only up. For example, A Silver player could never go to Bronze, just stick at the bottom of Silver, and only advance up to Gold. Then, once in Gold, never go back to Silver.

I was lied to. I was in Silver. I've just been reclassified to Bronze.

    Fucking macro game

Who told you that? I was talking to Gradius the other day and he told me he dropped down to bronze after going random for a bit.

Yeah, it would be quite dumb if you couldn't go down in rank.

I guess it's normal since they keep on sending out more waves of players. It wouldn't make much sense to have 10 divisions of plat and only 2 of gold.
On the other hand, I doubt it'll be very frequent once the game is a few months old, since there won't be sudden influx of new players.

I certainly hope you can go down! :P

Imagine getting into a higher league, and then taking a break for a while. Then when you come back, you just suck and lose every game .

By the way, I hope you don't mind my asking, but what does the message say when you get moved down a league? I mean, it can't say "Congratulations!" ...

Also, keep in mind, in BW, I was like D-. Or worse. I'm not even kidding, I am probably worse than that. Yet somehow I got promoted to the Gold League (though not doing very well there ). But my point is that as more players join the game, and we get a better idea of skill ceilings, I think that people who were previously considered to be 'good enough' to be in a particular league are re-assessed in the context of the current pool of players.

    Dunno - just a theory. D:

"Based on your performance, you've been assigned to ..."
I've been in Silver, dropped to low bronze, and climbed up to high silver :S

What about a side character for practice? Or ar beta testers still confined to the use of one character?(IIRC someone mensioned you could create 3 characters)

It would be nice if I could make a practice character, I am constantly trying new builds and getting owned so I have yet to break the silver rank for that reason.
