Bad idea, realy bad. It was not even one week since they increased the reapers build time by 10 seconds, since you could build them and harass the enemy extreamly early, and now you would like for them to be build even faster than before the nerf![]()

Wow, even after my post people continue to make stupid assumptions about moving the Reaper to be a reactor unit.
Some people, sheesh, it's pointless telling them an apple is an apple, they'll just continue to call it an orange through their ignorance.
"omfg if you think reaper should be a reactor unit you either havent seen them in actionz or youz not in teh beta! What? no i've never heard of anything called balance testing or changing around stats? wtf are those?"

I wonder why they made remove the D8 charge ability, it's much more interesting than automactically throwing bombs at buildings.

i agree with this. reapers deserve a revamp, and this seems like a good part of one; currently they seem like too much of an all-in move; they are costly on gas but also in tech commitment (2 rax with tech lab that early + maybe a speed upgrade @100 gas isnt something to sneeze at) ; they need some numbers to make an impact. and the marines are rather lonely at the reactor level. so i'd rather see reapers nerfed to deserve a place in the reactor than left as they are; the unit is so situational that it needs.
not being a beta tester, ill remain humble about this, but i would like to see some real arguments against it. rememebr, none is saying the reper could be a reactor unit without nerfs in other areas. for one, they clearly need another tech requirement.
a cool alternative is to have an upgrade at a higher tier that allows for reactor production of reapers. optimally that'd include units from factory & starport too. tanks mgith be ok, but on starport? banshee? role back medivac to require such an upgrade? idk..!
I am an enthusiast of good strategy games, sc2Esports and rollplay, although i dont really play anything atm.

are you kidding? Reapers are the most insane terran unit right now, with the speed upgrade and cliffjumping, getting TWICE the amount for early cliff-jump harassment would make the game extremely broken. Protoss would have to get 3 cannons in their main by 5 minutes or lose everytime.
