    You realize gas is totally the limiting factor with reapers though right? This change isn't making them that much crazier.
    If a terran wants to double pump reapers he can just double lab-rax, but anything beyond that will just be blocked because of gas income.

    Okay, the Reaper is Currently:
    Cost: 50/50
    Time: 40
    Hp: 50
    Attack: 4 +5 vs. light (*2), D-8 (vs. Buildings) 30.
    Range: Pistols 4.5, D-8 5

    What if we were to make it:
    Cost: 50/50
    Time: 50
    Hp: 40
    Attack: 3 +3 vs. light (*2)
    Range: 4
    Abilities: D-8 (30 damage +20 vs. armoured, 3 range)

    Also, what if AoE damage could reduce the amount of minerals in a patch (amount reduced = damage done)?

    Hey, this isn't really connected to the rest of my suggestion, it's just an idea I came up with when I was wanting to make D-8 Charges an ability again.

    I do wish D-8 charges were still an ability... they looked like a lot of fun to use in the battle reports

    NO WAY. If you believe the reaper should be a reactor unit

    A. You haven't seen the reaper in action. It can be devastating, especially on certain maps.

    I completely agree; however, on a slightly related note - I'm not in beta, but I have noticed in replays on Youtube that people seem to use reapers much less often than they did at the beginning of beta... Is that the case or am I simply catching replays that just happen to not use them?

    thats because of some hype that you use reapers you a noob or weak
    is a late game upgrade to allow reactors to build reapers, tanks, banshees

    I'm not sure that's the case cuz most players are still using roaches, marauders and warp-in, all of which are considered OP by many
