System Shutting Down?

I just got a "System is Shutting Down" message when I entered my game. Counted down from 1 minute to 0 and crashed SC2.

Anyone else get this/know what happened? At first I assumed a patch might be going up, but if that's the case why did they allow me to enter a new game just to wreck my score, and why did SC2 die completely?

Color me confused.

Beta is over. It was fun while it lasted, but it looks like Blizzard finally nailed out all the issues. Only a few weeks till release now.

PS: Hamshank, we'll never get finish that awesome game. :[

Turns out it is in fact the "service update" people mentioned in another thread. But that's just irritating... they knew it was going up and let me join a game, and now I have an extra loss to come back from.

Ugh. This, coupled with all the losses Blizz is handing out giddily for DCs (during map loading, right after map loading/ up to 2-3 minutes into the game) is getting really frustrating.

That's Patch 4's notes. They were also updated about 1-1.5 hours after the initial patching started.

For this reason, we can speculate that Patch 5's notes, which could be just as small, won't be revealed for a bit of time yet.
