Honestly, I think the Advisor portrait suits the advisor. I was a little put off by it at first, given that the High Templar portrait was the one the advisor had in development... but now I definitely think it looks like an advisor. It's robed, it's got a hood... I mean I'm still pretty sure he's the 'master of the tribunal'.

The same reason the new Dark Templar doesn't visually match its character.
    I think it does.

Anyway, the High Templar doesn't strike me as mystical. It always struck me as a transcendent unit. It was all black, it spoke in a mysterious, other worldly voice. It floated. That to me all sounds more biblical than mystical. Which the gold and the floating, and the power all symbolize.

Though I admit the two portraits are pretty close as far as archetype goes.

Maybe the protoss advisor is a high templar too, just with a different look.... Just like fenix portrait when in zealot mode...

Here is the main problem. The structure portrait has a bluish background, indicating he may be outside on Shakuras. The High templar obviously looks like he's inside.

So the image gives you an idea that he is the "Building commander" while the building portrait looks like he is outside on the field.

I have changed the background to illustrate this phenomenon. I'm sure Blizzard will fix this issue later.

I meant that they should change the current model used by the High Templar to look more like the current Advisor. The shadowing over the face is very similar to the first game's Templar, and I'm not sure about anyone else, but I feel like the High Templar's current unit model is very flat and badly proportioned compared to the new Zealot.

Just noticed, are there team color indicators n the portraits?

Play Protoss? Look for the map Photon Cannon Tactics in the NA server!

Here's a small compilation of some of the other wireframes in there. Not sure if these were all posted up somewhere else, but might be interesting to some who haven't seen it yet.

Cobra - Dumptruck - Tanker Truck
    Starbase
Dragoon - Escort - Swarm Host - Brutalisk - Lurker
Shrike Cannon Bunker - Neosteel Frame Bunker - Defense Matrix Grid - Spidermine

Cobra?! That's a Diamondback, baby! Get with the program.

Also, three cheers for the Starbase making it into the campaign!

    (thanks so much)

Those are all names taken from the files itself, kinda like how they called the Reaver the 'Trilobyte'.

Defense Matrix Grid? Wow, Single player is going to be really unique.

Is it a wall or a shield?

Edit: Speaking of which, is the Population cap still the same for Single Player?
