Corsair looks great, I wasn't expecting to see them in-game! Wonder if Scouts and Super-Carriers will show up, too.

Ooh, I hope Valkyries show up, too! I'd love to give the Viking's air mode the Valkyrie's air attack for a custom game. :>

Glad I can finally chat about these now.

I was stoked when I was the Dragoon & Corsair, I'm looking forward to seeing them.

It's interesting that the Brutalisk & the Old Infestor Model aren't like the other Zerg Wireframes. Still kinda sad that the Swarm Guardian model doesn't look to have made it in, but oh well.

I'm kinda curious as to why the main icons look like they're drawn, rather than going for a more realistic look:

Was the Corsair called by another name at one time? The one that looks like a Corsair is called an Escort.

The SC2 dragoon looks exactly like the dragoons from SC:BW cinematics. I guess it took 12 years for Blizzard to be able to make units look the way they want them too.

Not that I'm aware of, but there was a point where the Carrier could optionally train an escort ship instead of interceptors...so that may be what we're looking at. Don't believe that change lasted very long. Perhaps we're getting a glimpse at an expansion unit?

The Corsair was a Protoss flyer introduced in SC:BW, and it looks pretty much like that (except a bit less angular). We never saw an Escort, the ability was removed from the Carrier too quickly for a screenshot to be created.

Since they were just testing Escorts, they probably didn't bother to give them a full design job. So they took an off-the-shelf model (Corsair) and called it an Escort.

I still can't believe people are getting more excited about news of in-campaign Dragoons than confirmation of these in-game models:
